What Kind of Meltdown Will tRCMB Experience if (God Forbid) We Lose to WMU?
I propose, given the massive stockpiles of new chedda the board is now generating, that Trevor should implement a new Meltdown system for the board, similar to the DEFCON system used by the military. This could be a simple color and number coded bar at the top of the page, from 5 to 1, just like in WarGames.
MELTCON 5 (green) - No meltdowns in progress or deemed possible in the near future
MELTCON 4 (yellow) - Potential low-level meltdown imminent
MELTCON 3 (orange) - Low-level meltdown in progress (similar to the bball team losing to NU / PSU last year) and potential high level meltdown imminent
MELTCON 2 (red) - High-level meltdown in progress (i.e., football team's loss to CMU this year). Potential full-scale meltdown imminent
MELTCON 1 (white) - Servers in danger of exploding from having to process all of the chicken little posts, calls for coaching changes to HR Pufnstuf and Teddy Ruxpin, and use of the term "Same Old Spartans." Utter mayhem ensues - mods cannot control the natives and poop/nudity posts slip through the cracks.
I am guessing if we lose to WMU the board will be in MELTCON 1.

The last few losses have brought expectations for our football season back in line with reality, so I don't think it would be all that different than any other disappointing loss around here.

I really want to get some chicken fingers for lunch, but I can't decide on a dipping sauce. Thoughts?

Epic, truly epic.
It would be the first time in my life where I screamed "I'm done with this **** for the season"...and actually meant it and followed through with it.

Very nice, but I think much of the fanbase is in ApathyCon1 or very high chuckle level for this disappointing season.

Agree. The level of caring has fallen quite low

Dr. Peter Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"?
Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly.
Dr Ray Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave!
Dr. Peter Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Posters will complain about the predictable offensive playcalling by treadwell and the 3 man front prevent defense. We will say our o line sucks and the secondary can't cover. Some people will say that we should have hired BK and that they supported him all along and is undefeated this yr.

This picture made me laugh. If we get a MELTCON bar we should have a framed picture of Sparty next to it instead of Reagan.

If we lose to Western, Mark Dantonio would drop to 9th on my list of Big Ten coaches this season, right above DickRod and the Zooker. Only those two have done less with more this season.
(No I don't hate Dantonio, I'm just talking about this point in time.)
