This garbage doesn't belong in his appreciation thread.
I don't believe anyone is saying he's our best back. It's just great that he stepped up with Caper and Winston out.

Ya I'm with Goosinator, not to sound like an @ss but C'mon dude its WMU. If he pounds in a couple TD's from the 5 yd line against Penn State I will give him his props. I'm sure he is a great kid, so nothing personal against him but lets not get carried away. I appreciate what he did today, but I think a healthy Caper could have done the same...

Props to AL. You still have to line up and make it happen.
Let me bring back the Montana State game for consideration. How'd our backs do that day? I think AL looked solid today and hope he continues the performance against Purdue and PSU.

All I know is AL did things against WMU that Baker could not do. I was very let down with Baker today, I thought he would get on track with some huge numbers. Hopefully AL gets a shot in short yardage against Penn State and Purdue.

I noticed that too.
Why did AL have a huge day, while Baker had a relatively poor performance?
Its the same defense, maybe AL is just better at making cuts? Baker missing the holes?

Baker and caper should be better next year but I think Winston will take a huge step back while he recovers. He won't be 100% for a good 18 months.
That is one huge mistake by , IMO, not trying Leggett before taking Redshirt off Baker. Members of this board were saying last year that Leggett would be a goal-line back to replace Jehuu.

With Leggett we would be 10-0 and #4 in the BCS
