Great Spartan-related find at Meijer last weekend

I was going to post this last weekend, but because of the meltdown following the MSU/Minny game, thought I'd wait until RCMB was in a better mood.

So last Saturday (Halloween) afternoon, I somewhat grudgingly tagged along with my wife and kids to the Okemos Meijer to do some pre-Halloween shopping. As we headed towards the back of the store, my eyes, Terminator-style, locked in on a display of sports-related DVDs. One was the "Greatest Stories of MSU basketball" (which I already own) and a few others were scUM bowl games from years past (yawn), but looking a little further, I found the 2000 NCAA basketball championship game DVD for a measly $10.99. (I have a recording of the game on a crappy old VHS tape). I immediately snagged it and proudly announced my discovery to my wife, who said, "Can't you just watch that on-line?" (Women just don't get it).

Anyway, the moral of this story is that sometimes tagging along on boring shopping excursions isn't such a bad thing--you never know what you may find.

Anyone else have any cool MSU-related item they, perhaps unexpectedly, found recently?

Maybe your wife doesn't get it, but please don't include all women in your idiotic assumptions.

Pardon my misogyny! Let me revise that: "Some women don't get it."

Dude, what? Meijer is the best store in the world. How could you NOT like to go shopping there?

It would be cool to see SS with a green snuggie out.

Call Hollis and tell him to get on the phone with snuggie. They could pull it off in time for penn state.
