Yeah they announced attendance as 48k, and I think the place holds 55k so there were plenty of empty seats, surprising for a 75 degree November day with a game that meant something.
PU fans were pretty nice for the most part, although during the Go Green Go White chant at the end of the game I got plenty of "Go Home" shouted at me.
There was really only one guy who was bad sitting around me - every time a PU player didn't catch a ball it was interference. And on the running into the punter he was bitching because it was "
MSU's fault because they can't block the Purdue players" then he was booing like crazy.

His wife also like to scream like a banshee on 3rd down directly at me instead of at the field - it was quite humorous. Every Purdon't first down he also yelled "Strike up the Band!" which was pretty annoying.
I've been to OSU, scUM, ND, Wisky, NW and Purdue, and I'd say Purdue is near the bottom of places I'd go back to. The fans were ok, but the tailgating scene seemed pretty weak, but I didn't get a chance to go to breakfast club. The stadium was decent - clean bathrooms and nice concessions, they also did a good job with the replay board, they replayed every play, and it was a MUCH nicer screen than
MSU's. I also liked all the stats they put up during the game.
