Blair White named First-Team Academic All-America

Not surprising, since he graduated with a 3.9 GPA in Human Biology.

Congratulations Blair!

Obviously athletics played a bigger role in Academic all american of the year than did academics.
Blair White's 3.9 in Human Biology is far more impressive than Tebow's 3.66 in family, youth, and communications.

You're forgetting that Tebow is the son of God. All that he does vastly outshadows anything any mortal student-athlete could ever think of accomplishing.

Bump in case anyone else didn't see this - some great news for a great Spartan, just sucks that it's overshadowed by the other big news today...

Keep him away from any pot-luck dinners before the bowl game.

This is what we should be focusing on today. Let's not let the actions of a couple of FORMER Spartans overshadow the accomplishments of one TRUE Spartan.

On this night, please realize that we have more STUDENT-athletes closer to accomplishing something like this than doing something that is an embarrassment to this great university!

GO GREEN!! GO BLAIR WHITE!!!

Congratulations Blair, the announcement couldn't come at a better time for the school. Good luck in the bowl game, and hopefully the NFL!

Bump...

Mods, this something we should be celebrating as a University. Could we have it keep it posted on the top of the front page? Thanks.

That's really excellent. Blair White is a hell of a guy. Graduating with a 3.9 is no easy task. But getting a 3.9 when all of your classes are filled with geeky biology science dorks is even more impressive.

Congratulations! Way to represent yourself, your teammates, and your university!
