I'm not sure you should let everyone know about that...

OH, you mean snow depth...

Got another 4 inches out here in southwest Iowa. The line from CS Lewis, LIon Witch Wardrobe, Narnia, always winter never Christmas. That should be the slogan for winter in Iowa.

Yeah, I still have power, but DAMN it is coming down now. Wind is bad - terrible blizzard conditions. I bet we have 6-8 inches here, and it's piling up fast.

Just starting to snow at my friends place in Jersey. They are now under a winter storm warning with 6"-12" predicted through Saturday evening.

The flakes are reall small, but there are a ton of them. Almost looks like fog. This snow is real dense.

I plan on making a giant snowman tomorrow.

I hope my power stays on . . .

It was projected to be so bad this morning on Detroit Channel 2, their model couldn't show the actual snowfall in certain areas, it was too deep. Over 2 feet showed as no precipitation at all.

This reminds me of the good 'ol days when we had 7 feet of snow in Buffalo over 3 days during the Xmas break. It was so awesome!

18 to 22 inches in the Pittsburgh area. Portions of the interstates are closed. The traffic cameras are showing zero cars on the highways. Most businesses are closed today or opening up late.

Of more concerned to a snowed in Spartan is that we are not getting most of the channels on cable. None of the ESPN channels are coming through. Comcast needs to get out and clean off their satellite dishes. Our county has declared a state of emergency. Do cable workers qualify as essential personnel?

Nope, not in town...Ill make some calls though.

Unconfirmed 4 jets damaged and the collapse was at the newest facility.
