UI vs. UW on BTN

UI out to a crappy start. Of course they played their hearts out against us at home but look terrible against UW. They are looking lazy and uninspired.

UW crowd is quieter than the green seaters.

I'm sure glad these teams/fans get extremely pumped to play us but look bored against each other.

Frustrating stuff.

Bo Ryan is an absolute joke...Travon Hughes rakes Tisdale across the arms, for one of the most obvious fouls I've seen all year, and Ryan throws a fit and cusses out the ref.

Illinois is horrible away from home. This really shouldn't be any surprise.

Ref doesn't even think about T'ing him up and then they get a makeup call on the very next possession. UW guy doesn't even get touched but a shooting foul is called. Guy hits his FT and UW ends up getting +1 after that foul call on Hughes.

And people wonder why UW is so great at home.

Neither team has anything left to play for after their seasons were made by beating MSU. I'm surprised they didn't just meet at center court and agree to a draw.

Ya and when bringing the ball up the court before that foul, the Illinois player was getting hacked one time after another by the Wisky player...No call. Finally they make that call that Bo was Irate over. So on the other end they call an AND 1 against Illinois over a phantom "make up" call to please Bo. Crowd goes wild as if Illinois had been getting away with murder up till then. Its a scam in Madison.

I thought that both fouls(the one on Hughes and the one on IU) were legit, I guess it depends on perspective....

The BTN guys show a replay of good "defense". McCamey beats his man, draws contact with Nankevil while he's shuffling his feet, and no foul call. They orignally claimed Nankevil's arms were straight up but they are clearly forward at a 90 degree angle trapping McCamey. McCamey can't get any lift and his shot barely gets rim. No call but the BTN guys consider that good defense.

Teams get raped when they walk into the Kohl Center. It's a gd joke.

Pretty quiet at the Kohl Center. Are the mic's turned down for this game, or do the fans actually think the season ends after beating Michigan State?

I hate watching UW but I just can't look away. I'm amazed at how the refs let them play on defense but Illinois is whistled for almost anything. I just don't see this anywhere else.

Illinois has 9 PF's to Wisconsin's 4.

Only in the Big Ten can a foul be called on a 6' guard by a ref all the way across the court in the midst of a battle between two 7' guys going for a rebound...

Nankovil knows how to do only one thing on a basketball court, but he does it well.

Thoroughly useless in all other areas.

Neither team even trying to do anything other than jack 3s.

They should just have a 3 point contest.

Illinois plays their worst basketball all year but McCamey nails his last 5 shots and it's a 2 pt game.

UW has virtually no offense other than the 3 point shot.

Don't worry, UI will implode and Wisconsin will
their way to victory.

Pretty good game to watch so far. Some hot shooting and not many whistles to slow it up.
