EAST LANSING -- Michigan State set a record for the best 21-game start in school history by beating Illinois on Wednesday night. The Spartans should extend that mark -- at least the next two games. Tonight they play a Penn State team struggling without its best player, senior forward Geary Claxton. Then they're idle a week before hosting Northwestern.
