11:45 A.M. - There's already pandemonium outside the gates of Spartan Stadium as fans are waiting to get in.It kicked in when Sparty showed up on a golf cart to greet the crowd. It's the first official Sparty sighting today -- no inflatable ones this time.Although the older fans gave Sparty high-fives and cheered "Go Green! Go White!", it's the littlest fans who showed the most support..3-year-old Benji, 5-year-old Thomas, 8-year-old G (correctly spelled) and 6-year-old Mitchie went into a frenzy when MSU's mascot showed up, jumping up and down and screaming at the top of their lungs.When asked if they want to go to State one day, they all enthusiastically said "yes." The oldest, G, already knows he wants to "study animals."Ironically, their family also shared a tailgate with some other green-and-white fans, but not MSU. Eastern Michigan fans and MSU fans mixed, but there didn't seem to be any harsh feelings. Sherry, one of the kids' relatives, explained she lived next door to Eastern Michigan University's quarterback.Hey, as long as everyone's having fun.
