Today's contest in Bloomington, Ind. sets up for the classic letdown game for Michigan State. Coming off three straight wins, the Spartans cannot look past the Hoosiers. Past MSU teams have started the season strong but dropped some winnable games early in its Big Ten schedule. If the Spartans are legit contenders in the Big Ten, they need win games like these. Javon Ringer will have a great opportunity to enhance his Heisman Trophy campaign against a favorable front seven. Don't be surprised to see Ringer get close to 40 carries today. These are the type of games where he needs to pad his stats if he has a legitimate chance of being invited to New York.
