Are RCMB Moderators/Admins too lenient or too overbearing?
There is no right or wrong answer, I'm just wondering how the masses feel. If you don't feel strongly either way, please abstain from voting.
Incidentally, any user can view this forum/poll but only Donors can vote.

The goal here is to fix that. This is just the first step.

I actually agree with Bee on this one.
If I had to choose, I think they are more lenient than overbearing.

I was going to say "too lenient," but then they forced me against my will to view a thread I didn't give a rat's ass about.

Barnes, stop over thinking this ****. If people don't like how the board is run, they can go elsewhere. I've heard the internets is a big place.
Or, they can act like Bee and gHost and complain about how the board is run day in and day out.

Where is the "I think the mods are doing OK" option?

Sadly I had the exact same thought.
I realize consistency it is difficult if not impossible with a dozen different mods, but it seems every mod runs with their own set of rules and in some cases personal hatreds.

I see the poll was tweaked to make it private.
FTR, I'd say too inconsistent on the side of leniency.

I agree with this.
That being said, I am sure they are doing the best they can and appreciate their work.

I would like to vote too inconsistent also.
99% of the time I have ZERO problem with what they do. I think the one percent mostly has to do with the Kosmo "schtick outting" campaign. Even though he is one of my favorite people here, I think the whole "schtick outting" has gotten worse than the schticks themselves.
oh, that is a great idea for a new schtick though...I will work on that one....

That was Al's suggestion so that people would be able to vote their minds freely.

Not to sidetrack the poll, but that thread was actually more of a joke than anything. Get everyone all excited that all these big name schticks would be outted, but actually only reveal really tiny fish.

If what Fletch said was an option, this is what I'd vote for.

Too leniet with the crossing the line stuff. When a poster crosses the line and engages in personal attacks about another poster's kids or wife or husband, that poster should be banned and the post itself deleted. You give them a time out and if they do it again, it is death. By leaving the post, it encourages other posters to follow suit and it just makes for an ugly read.

Again, as for inconsistency, one of the goals here is to address what changes we need to make. (winning some damn basketball games would be a solid start)

Also, I think you have to reference Too lenient in regards to what?
I think they let a lot of things slide, and it's good for opinion. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but I think it needs to be made clear that you should state it as opinion.
We had this discussion in the "constructive criticism" thread.
