The following is a description of a 12 month contract in Torrance, CA for a
Network Security Engineer. Start date is ASAP. Rate: $55-75/hr. If

The Engineer will be working on Client Bank projects about 75% of the time.
The rest will be working on day to day network security operations. As
more firewalls and security devices are coming online such as the intrusion
detection systems and firewalls in India, it is critical to have more
network security engineers to meet the
SLA's governed by Security COE policies.

This Network Security Engineer will:
- Work under the direction of the current Network Security Lead and the
Manager to implement network security designs as per the security policy
-Assist in maintaining network security for current and future systems
projects
- Assist in the day to day network security and network operations
- Document network security implementations

Required Skills:
- 5 to 7 years of network design, security design, implementation and
operations experience
- Knowledge of routing protocols – OSPF
- Knowledge of layer 2 protocols
- Checkpoint Firewalls; PIX firewalls; Cisco CATOS and Native IOS; Cisco
Firewall Services Modules
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Network security forensics analytical skills;
- Knowledge of financial services governing bodies and auditing
- Excellent written, communications, presentation and documentation skills.
