Project management/site supervision

Today begins a new chapter in my career life since I have lost my current job to cut-backs. I am experienced in construction, both residential and commercial, and am seeking opportunities within the field. Site supervision or foreman, and project management would be my first choices. I am also open to listening to other opportnities that might utilize my education as well as experience.

I am currently taking a prep course to allow me to take the PMP exam and get certified through PMI (http://www.pmi.org/Pages/default.aspx). Is that something you speaking of and interested in? There are minimum requirements that you have to meet to take the exam (degree, experience, contact hours) which you need to have prior to filling out the application. From what I have seen and learned that is a good certification to have, it looks really good. Let me know and maybe I can give you more info.
