Also your link doesn't work. I'd be interested to see it though.
So, you are saying we could not have "irradiated" some rocks to make it look like they were exposed to gamma rays?

I don't want to read through the whole thread. Do you believe in a conspiracy or are you just playing Devil's Advocate?

That's not what I'm saying. That's what independant scientists have been saying since 1969.

I believe the gov't had reasons to fake moon landings and did so.

No, I do not believe in aliens or have eight cats.

Interesting. No question they had reason to.

I don't want to get into it.

I'll stick with believing we landed on the moon.

This has been a hoot reading this through this thread.

I have to ask:
MSU CIO and FightingWhite. C'mon one of you fess up. You're really Roundhead under another user name, right?

Relatives of Roundhead? Roomates? Or maybe both of you are Roundhead, and sending your messages in on separate computerlines. Now that's a conspiracy I'd believe.

I am surprised this thing hasn't taken a turn toward the 9/11 conspiracy yet. I didn't even know such ideas existed, let alone that there are people that believed such things until I read it on the RCMB.

Here you go, Butter. I have nothing to add to the moon landing or JFK threads, but I am in the middle of this book, and all I can say is, just read it.

Otherwise, carry on.

Once again, there is a mirror on the moon, and it is visible with a telescope. You can prove that we landed on the moon for yourself, that is unless Aliens put it there, which makes you REALLY nutty.

I firmly believe we could have sent a ONE WAY, UNMANNED PROBE to the moon in the sixties.

It DOES NOT PROVE that a lunar module left Earth with humans, landed, took off and landed back on earth... more than once.

Yes, this unmanned module with our poor technology set up a mirror without breaking/misaligning the mirror or anything, but we couldn't get people there???

If we were able to set up the mirror(we did), we had more than enough ability to get people to land and all that.

You logic is totally flawed. Sending and returning carbon based life forms is a very different and far more complex task than sending a probe.

Meh, everything we've been able to do with probes we can also do with humans, it's just you need a bunch of added weight, which wasn't/isn't the limiting factor on such a trip.

Reason we don't go farther now = people suck if they are in space a long time. Not cause we can't get them there.

I'm switching between the National Geographic special and the Senior Bowl.

The "apologists" seem to be very articulate and informed. The conspiracy theorists are being interviewed outside of their trailor homes.

WEIGHT is your only extra concern in sending and RETURNING humans vs. sending a mirror?
