OMG ...5 pages of talking about conspiracy theory and ROUNDHEAD hasn't chimed in. He is the King of this crap. I am shocked that he hasn't shown up with all his 'facts' about how 9/11 was planned by Bush. I am sure he believes we never landed on the moon too.

The amazing thing is 5 pages in and NO ONE has responded to a SINGLE POINT raised on a one page web site I posted...
Anyone care to respond to what was going on at Langley?

Well I didn't know much about this conspiracy theory prior to today. But I just watched the show on NGEO.
Gotta say the scientists really made the conspiracy guys look like idiots. Plant me firmly in the "it really happened" category.

Because it all internet BS. Just like every other conspiracy nut that has floated an idea that idiots eat up.
If we ever never on the moon then explain all the experiments that were left on the surface. The cosmic radiation on the 800 pounds of moon rocks or the date of the little glass spheres that are older than anything found on Earth.
For every stupid conspiracy claim there are about 10 more truths.
As for not going back at the time, they made 6 moon landings and there was no reason. If we faked it Russia and East Germany would have been up in arms and never abandoned their plans for the moon.
As for the Radiation more commonly known as the Van Allen belt for the scientist who discovered laughs at the claims that the belt is deadly. They penetrate the belt at the thinnest place and rocket through it. They are not in the belt long enough to observe enough harmful radiation.

In euclidean geometry, if you walked in a straight line, turned 90* walked in a straight line, then turned 90* again, and continued to walk, you could NOT make a triangle
HOWEVER
Walking down the equator, turning 90*, walking to the north pole, and turning 90* again, you would hit the equator. Proving the earth does not lay on a euclidean geometry plane (Flat), but rather, a non-euclidic plan (A sphere) Whereas the 90* triangle in possible.

So, people saw the moon landing on TV and in pictures and those are always real, but the Internet always lies?

Where can I go see 800 lbs of moon rocks?
"little glass spheres"... the truth told to you by three NASA "scientists".

I would laugh.
I think almost any shrink would agree with my assessment of why he would behave this way.

Like the laser experiment that is still operational today. If Man didn't go to the Moon, then that experiment could never have started.

Plus shouting in your face that you're a liar and a coward.
That's how you end up getting beat down by a 72-year-old man.

Some people have mentioned the mirror on the Moon.
Is there any way to look through a telescope and see the rover or its tracks, landing site, the American flag, or any human tracks from any of the landings?

No, it's far too far away. No telescope on earth (or the Hubble for that matter) has resolution that good.
A new series of lunar orbiting photographic probes are planned within the next few years which should pick up the lunar landing sites on camera, and will show the lunar module descent stages, rovers, etc etc. (of course the conspiracy-theory fruitcakes will claim all those photos are faked too).
The "mirror" people are talking about is the Laser Ranging Retroreflector (LRRR) which was left on the moon by Apollos 11, 12, 14 and 15.
Astronomers shoot a laser beam at the moon, the laser hits the LRRR, it bounces back, they measure the time it takes to get back and divide the time by c (the speed of light, 186,282.3 miles/second) and get the precise distance of the moon from the earth (accurate within about 2 inches). Using this experiment it has been determined the moon is receding from the earth by a couple of inches per year.
