Guess which Republican candidate has the most contributions from soldiers?
Dems are KILLING (pardon the pun) the Pubs in fundraising - especially among active members of our military. Which Republican is in the lead among his party?
I'll post the data after you all guess.

I think Les Paul is picking Peavey to be his running mate, so it should be an interesting race

Amazing that the only Republican in favor of ending the war gets the most contributions from the military.
Don't you love how the warpublicans try to speak for the troops?

buddy, check what spinfactor is siting. the FEC. I think they'd get it right.
Opensecrets.org--Money in politics data
the above is probably the best out there, easiest to read and look people up.

Yes, they like Hecklers is siting the FEC, got it, but the info pulled, and unverified is by Spin.com or whatever, I would like to find the link that I origionally asked for that show that Demms are crushing Repubs in military household donations, as what was initially implied in beginning of thread. What is so hard about this??

They are telling you, You can dispute those numbers by looking at the filings...
The FEC reports are online...
Although I would be shocked if you had the motivation to disprove a fact you don't agree with to that level...

Ron Paul may be more accurately described as a Libertarian. He ran under their banner before as their candidate for POTUS in 1988.
There would be very little international intervention if the USA was run in a Libertarian fashion. That means little to no involvement with the UN, foreign aid and intervention in places like Iraq.
Paul supports a very limited role for the US gov't domestically too. For instance he was the only person to vote against giving freedom medals to Rosa Parks and Pope Paul II. He has supported the elimination of the income tax, federal $ for education too, I believe. Ron Paul is a doctor but doesn't take Medicaid $. He has supported repealing anti-drug laws and anti-prostitution laws. One can see he is hardly a classic Republican nor is he someone who is close to being a Democrat.
With that in mind then McCain may be the Republican who has raised the most $.
