Great news. Maybe I'll let my own huge pole out in order to celebrate.

Not a poll. Swing, and a miss!

While the current economic news is certainly encouraging for Bush, take a quick look at your 401(k) or personal retirement plan returns since Bush took office. I think you'll be amazed at how "average" the economy has actually been over the years. Those 20 - 30+% hits people took early in his presidency took a long time to recoup and are somehow all but forgotten by the short term investor.

And you realize that those early-term economic swings are a gift from Clinton, right?

That doesn't count as a poll. First, it doesn't favor us. Second, it is a poll that doesn't consider ing as a principal focus of its results.

The Stock Market went from 3,000 to 11,000 under Clinton. Under Bush it's less than 3,000 in seven years.

Of course, Clinton got a hummer in the WH, so all bets are off.

I'll believe that only if you will allow me believe the eight year stock market surge during the Clinton administration was due ONLY to the carry over from Bush 41 as so many of my right wing/Rush Limbaugh/Fox News loving friends have been programed to believe.

Let me get this straight...only four posts prior to this beauty great danton blamed the Clinton administration for the massive drop in the stock market during bushys early years and now suddenly it's 9/11 - which, for your information happened under JUNIOR's watch - who, for your information, ignored numerous reports of a possible terrorist attack.

I guess based on your insight, in theroy the blame for the drop in the stock market falls directly into Bush's lap.

You people are precious!

Thanks for playing and have a great day!

BTW - By reading your signature reference to the Bible, I should remind you that it's not very Christian-like to call people names - especially using profane words like "*******". So much for loving thy neighbor I guess. Just another display of right wing hypocracy at its best.

minibee has a memory of the last 50% of the current decade. To him to even mention a president other than Bush is shocking.

Hubbard,
A few weeks ago I gave you props for a few of your posts, however, after reading so many of your immature threads since then I'm going to take your self proclaimed knowledge of the stock market with a grain of salt.

Seriously, some of your recent threads - like the numerous attempts to bait Go Disc Golf into a fight are really childish.

I truly hope the "85" in your name has nothing to do with your graduation year.

And I'm right, the swings were from the aftermath Clinton's administration. Blame 9/11 if you want, but that was also caused by the Clinton administration's inaction.
