Please present your counter evidence.

Would it be something like:

"Uh, we all know it has been done more than that. America sucks and always lies. Unlike Al Qaeda, Chavez, and other respected leaders of the world."

If it is currently a crime, the military commits this crime regularly against its own personnel. It is part of special forces survival training. And apparently, Fox News facilitated and participated in a waterboarding crime in this video from November, 2006:

I saw something on TV this weekend (can't remember what channel) where some reporter set up a deal where he got waterboarded. It was pretty funny to watch and I guess they laid into him for a good long time.

In the end he said it was bad but he didn't think it was torture.

Now that is dedication to your craft.

No problem. Someone had to point out that there is nothing hypocritical about something that used to be illegal becoming legal.

I'm curious, why didn't you use slavery as the analogous example? Certainly your "drinking" analogy is apt because of the forced pouring of large quantities of vile liquid down the throats of the helpless while viewing football games. Just curious if you might see any underlying factors that may make one circumstance more analogous than another.

Uh, No_Dikky, simply adding "idiot" to the end of your "proof" does not make it so. Other than in your own idiotic mind, that is. Somebody conjecturing about it does not consitute proof, except, of course, in your own idiotic mind.

funny how the point flew over your head as well.

It isn't just that it once was illegal and now it isn't. It's that up until recently when this practice was used against U.S. interests it is seen as a major crime, but NOW the U.S. doesn't have a problem with it.

You call that an answer? A reporter's conjecture? Do you still believe Dan Rather?

For banya, da Nile isn't just a river in Egypt.

Hilarious, plenty of documented cases of waterboarding that may or may not have been acknowledged by the government but banya refuses to believe. Why? I guess because this admin has always been 100% complete open and honest with us in the past.

For Idiot_Disc the Nile is anywhere a reporter tells him it is:

Reporter: The Nile is the longest river in Russia!

Idiot_Disc: Yeah, that's what I thought!

Reporter: Chavez is not a dictator!

Idiot_Disc: He's not? Of course not!

The issue is that the procedure hasn't been used in almost 5 years.

I'm all for killing em after we get information out of em. If they want to dress up like typical soldiers we can start treating them like typical soldiers subject to the Geneva Convention, until then, treat em like the scum they are.
