Public education isn't failing. 1000's of foreign students show our higher ed system is doing just fine.

Public education built the greatest country in the history of the human race. Conservatives disparage public education because (1) They want to squeeze profit out of it, and (2) They want to establish a system that would allow them to deny education to anyone who can't afford it, much like medical care. If the voucher plans succeed in replacing public education, providing free education to the poor will be viewed with the same contempt and hostility as welfare.

If you really want to ******* up the United States beyond recognition, privitize education.

If that were the only relevant metric, it might mean something. Might. (Clue: NOT)

Did you read the entire article?

On another note, sadly, unless someone tell me what the heck "projectory" means, its use in the article brings into question the authors own education.

Or, maybe, he proved his own point, albeit wholly unintentionally.

My gosh man, read the article! I highly doubt that your two points of argument would exist save for the current state of education!
