FYI (new crack down)
think of this as those damn PSAs that air every christmas warning about the dangers and penalties of drinking and driving.
Personal attacks on other posters will be closely watched. If you cannot make your point or argument without resorting to a personal attack, then your point is most likely weak to begin with and the post should not be submitted. If you attack a poster, you will be banned. There will, most likely, not be a warning. There will be some personal attacks that are not caught or just dealt with at a latter date and time. Deal with it. Do not assume the mods understand humor and intent of any attacks.
And yes, changing somebody's screen name, does constitute a personal attack.

Al, first, I love how you lock the thread so people with questions have no recourse. Second, it is not a new crackdown, but new rules, if time honored traditions, like changing Spartan Al's name to Spat Albert, is now a punishable offense.
I can see the no pulling posters family in. But a well placed moron here or there never hurt anybody.
That said, I am done with attacks.

Great news - although I think most of Wells Hall's issues can be resolved by simply banning LWS/Bee from being able to start new threads.

This one's in effect and expanded to "ticking the mods off by consistently being an ass." I'll never ban someone for their stance on an issue, but if they're consistently condescending, making outlandish inflammatory statements, etc, they'll see the sidelines for a bit. It's happened to two people already, and I can think of three that deserve it if they keep it up. If you think someone's an idiot, let your point make it, having to actually call someone a moron says you've got nothing better than namecalling.
