So now we have Hillary Clinton (worth more than 100 million) and McCain (married to the Chair of one of the largest beer distributors in the US) calling a guy who got turned down for an AMEX less than 6 years ago elitist. My bet is the McCain's and Clinton's have seen the inside of a lot more board rooms, country clubs and private schools than Obam but he's being painted as being elite.
Political spin, gotta love it.

Of course he got turned down for an amex less than 6 years ago ....I don't think I've known anybody who believes more of what they read than you

Maybe if Obama didn't say those stupid elitist things, then you wouldn't have to be concerned about the "spin".
I have to go now, I feel very bitter so I'm going to go cling to my guns and religion for a while until I get a false sense of security again.

Poor weed, still calling names.
My nephew owns a business in Obama's neighborhood.
I just find it funny that the Clinton campaign (and by all reports McCain's soon to follow) are calling Obama an elite.
Bully I find it even funnier that you have blind support for Bush2, Ivy league, elite private school child of Ivy league, elite private school child of Ivy league, elite private school child yet Obama is an elitist?
obtuse thought at the right side best. no middle for bully.

Who did I call a name?
Your problem is you are only associating elitism with money....here I'll help you out, here's the definition:
- The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, OR financial resources.

I see you edited your post....I'm not bully btw
so everyone who attends Ivy League schools are elitist? Didn't Obama attend an Ivy League school?

The new truth, Obama is a economically challenged elitist.

So you don't think Christopher Hitchins is an elitist?

Hey GRR, why do you always cower when proven wrong? If I were the one erroneously accusing you of calling me a name you would have sent me a PM by now demanding a public retraction

a Monday morning bump - let's see if we can predict the next Weapon of Mass Distraction the conservatives and their willing accomplices in the media will create:
I'm guessing something along the lines of one of the following:
1. one of Obama's children forget to turn in their homework.
2. Michelle Obama fails to use a turn signal.
3. Obama's barber stole a piece of gum as a child.
4. Obama benefitted from a cable-splicing venture his freshman year in college.

there are two reasons he threw his grandmother under the bus:
a) she's not a closet Muslim
and
b) she was wearing a flag lapel pin at the time.

While reading that crap it's nice to see the cons who have been brainwashed by Faux in regards to the "secret Muslim" crap chime in. Don't they know he has a radical anti-American black Christian preacher, or is this "secret Muslim week" on Faux?
Was Obama accidentally referring to the 57 Islamic states of the OIC, the Organization of the Islamic Conference? He probably would have learned about the OIC in his childhood Islamic studies in Indonesia.

I proudly don't even know who the dude is - in my estimation, life is too short to occupy yourself with hate..
I just enjoy keeping my Weapons of Mass Distraction thread going - since the right wing nuts cannot mount an argument on substance, they have to go to flag lapel pins, etc.
you're a great American, by the way.

How about we distract America with his long list of accomplishments since becoming Senator Obama:
* Senator Obama’s fight for universal children’s health care in Illinois.
* His success bringing Republicans and Democrats together on bills such as the one in Illinois requiring police interrogations and confessions to be videotaped.
* His leadership on ethics reform in Washington.
* His bill to make the federal budget far more transparent and accessible to Americans via the Internet.
* And his vital work with Republicans to lock down nuclear weapons around the world.
Feel free to add more (if you can find any).
