Hannity and Limbaugh -
How do they do it? The constant extreme outrage.
Everytime I tturn Rush on his preaching like its the end of the world -
"Do you realize what Obama will do to you!?!!!"
I gotta give them credit for being able to do that everyday. It must be exhausting.

they have millions of reasons to feign outrage. They know that as long as they continue to spew their hate and outrage and create fear among their brainwashable shepple their bank accounts will be very, very healthy.

Limbaugh gets about $35.5 million per year through 2009 (signed the contract in 2001) so he has a lot of dead presidents to keep around him and keep him on the radio. With that kind of income, Limbaugh would keep Bush2 in office forever so his tax bill would be zero.
Hannity isn't poor by any measure but ONLY gets about $5 million per year so compared to Limbaugh he's a ham and egger.

You know sometmes I actually enjoy their input on some issues, but the feigned outrage really gets annoying.

Yup - they are outraged all the way to the bank where they happily deposit their millions.
Meanwhile Airhead America and Mr. Franken try the same thing with far more "outrage" and yet they go bankrupt. How can that be?

Some people are happy to be told the same things, again and again for years. Limbaugh and Hannity make people feel good about being smarmy and racist. (calling the LA mayor as a shoe shine boy, Obama a halfro American, spreading rumors of white politicians with illegitimate nixed race children).
Lowest common denominator radio pandering to the same groups Nixon identified in the 50's and got himself elected to president of the whole country. Never underestimate the power of fear and loathing.
