I never thought our country would re-elect the worst president in US history and look who's sitting in the oval office...anything can happen.

The republicans will keep it close with their hate machine, and will focus on wedge issues such as gay rights.

I also expect a lot of race baiting from the right wing nutjobs, including Faux News commentators.

It will be close, but at the end of the day, Obama will coast.

Obama wins a squeaker just like he won the nomination. He is running to win, not to "smoke" McCain.

McCain's hate radio supporters will keep on churning out lies like the one s about Obama's wife and the missing videos.

At the end of the day it very well might be a tie.

Actually the majority of Americans believe in gay RIGHTS, but not in gay marriage

(however a plurality believe that gays should be given the same legal protections in a partnership as spouses - but oppose calling it marriage)

I still can't believe people like Hannity get away with saying this stuff.

Good point. The Republican scare machine has barely just begun.

That's my point. We elect President's with the electoral college, and with McCain showing little ability to win the swing states, the final electoral college map could be decidedly in Obama's favor.

Unlike Obama, who proved his mettle in MI, PA and OH during the primaries

You're right, but let's keep everything straight: he wasn't on the ballot in MI. It was his own fault, but also it wasn't...

Just wanted to pop by and make sure that everyone of you obama supporters has joined the "Put up or shut up" CHALLENGE.

If you are talking trash about obama "coasting" and haven't signed up, then your commentary is nothing more than hot air.
