Who are Obama and McCain's favorite presidents?
Have they said on the record?

Unfair question, since McCain personally knew most the early presidents.

Bush has probably only heard of one or two others, so I would guess he would say his "daddy"

I think I heard somewhere that John McCain was a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution, so I'd guess Ronnie was McCain's favorite.
Obama's favorite is Lincoln. He said, "Lincoln embodies those qualities that are the very best in America: upward mobility, an embrace of the future and an ability to stand fast on principle while acknowledging the other side of the debate."
