Not nearly as much as it pissed off the Hilton folks.

Yeah it was also awesome in the respect that its probably made some critical swing voters, myself included, think more and more that McCain's an idiot if he approved a commercial like that.

Brilliant strategy.

Lighten up Sally, based on the swing in the polls this week I'd say that it had a positive response.

Also, despite the fact that you are one of the more reasonable Obama supporters on this board, I hardly consider you a swing voter. From watching you post, it has been clear all along who you were supporting so I am sure McCain is not losing any sleep over the fact that you didn't approve his commercial. I am not a McCain fan whatsoever, but I found humor in it.

...And Obama is a 60/40 shot to win. You should go wager a bunch on McCain since you're a uptight little pansy who cowers at the first sign of adversity!

McCain deserves to lose for the Hilton/Spears ad. Why? He brought Hilton back into the spotlight. That skank had gone away, she was so 2005. Now, she's back and her little ad is all over the news. Thanks McCain.

BTW, if you look at the people considered the top 10 celebrities for 2008 neither Hilton nor Spears are on there. The women on there are all either A) married or in a stable relationship (Jolie) or B) minorities. Hmmm, wonder why they'd choose Spears and Hilton, single, white, whores, instead of one of those women?

Did you also find humor in McCain volunteering his billionaire wife up for a topless, simulated sex act beauty contest at Sturgis this past weekend?

He gets more out of touch by the day. He is like Bob Dole squared.

I have no idea what you are talking about and I really don't care. I am sure McCain knowingly volunteered his wife for that during a presidential campaign. It's not even worth my time to Google it to find out.

Both McCain and Bob Dole have resumes that make Barack Obama look like a benchwarmer on the Washington Generals. Again, Dole and McCain have succeeded in their careers with experience and substance whereas Obama has done so with celebrity like status.

You can tell yourself that all you want. I have plenty of issues with McCain, but something stupid like that is not going to get the time of day with me. It is obvious that it was taken out of context so there is no point to even reading it. If you removed the name McCain from it and added Obama, it would be equally as useless to me. I have enough legitimate issues with Obama to want to waste my time on something like that.

I don't think that "critical swing voter" and "brilliant" belong in the same post, much less the same planet.

Now you've got yourself all wound up. It's a spectacular day so I suggest you go for a nice walk in the park and blow off some steam. Between John McCain's commercials and my posts you are clearly distraught.

Unfortunately for McCain, he lost an undecided voter that he obviously was close to reeling in. His loss.

Dude, time to be honest with yourself. Based on your posts, you're not a swing voter. Not even close.

Yup, McCain wins the election. No question about it at this point.

What sucks is that whoever loses gets to spend the next 4 years bashing the President in the Senate.
