4 countries that end in "-stan" have more medals than Canada.

OK. I'll grant that Canada will have some medals by the end of the games. But..........

WHO WILL HAVE MORE MEDALS BY THE END OF THE OLYMPICS?????

-- Michael Phelps

OR

-- Canada

And your country is home to Ben Johnson and a guy who decapitated a teenager on a bus with a hunting knife.

Without America, what would you do with the time you took writing 2500+ "I hate America posts?"

Forget Italy as well, they were a facist nation at one time. Japan out for the rape of China, China out for the rape of China, Argentina's out since they harbored Nazi's. Maybe the Olympics should just be a match up of Swiss athletes competing against Swiss athletes.

And Canada would still not win a medal.

I guess i will never understand the Canadian hate from Americans. Every time i have gone to Canada, everyone has been polite and nice and, i had a great time.

I will perpetuate the French Canadian stereotype, because them people are *******s (at least in my experience). Normal Canadians seem awesome to me. You cant beat Canada for fishing and wildlife, they also had the balls to kick the corrupt bastards out of office unlike our ***** ass's.

To me if you don't like Canada you may want to visit their some time. I am not talking about Windsor either, i am talking about real Canada.

For the record, Australia has overtaken the United States as fattest nation on Earth. Must be those burgers with the lot.

BEIJING - A week into these Olympics and Canada is still without a medal, but there won’t be many near misses tighter than this.
Dylan Armstrong, the burly shotputter from Kamloops, B.C. finished in fourth place here Friday night as the Olympic track and field meet got under way.
Worse than failing to get Canada’s first medal, Armstrong’s six-throw average of 21.04 was a mere centimetre behind bronze medallist Andrei Mikhnevich of Belarus.
“A centimetre’s nothing, but that’s the way it is,” said Armstrong who set a Canadian record with his second row of 21.04 which was good enough to put him in second spot for the time being. “I’ll take all this experience I gained tonight and move forward and have a better year next year.”
There’s even more reason for Armstrong to be optimistic considering the former hammer thrower only started in shotput three and a half years ago.

“I train hard all year and come out and just miss it,” Armstrong said. “To come that close is a little crushing. I definitely don’t want to relive that moment again, but I’m positivie and I’ll just move forward.”
“I probably thought about that more than anything. To try and get Athletics Canada a medal ... I really wanted it bad. But I know they will be happy with the way I performed. They have supported me and helped me. It’s totally paid off."
When the 6-foot-4, 251 pounder was asked if he would allow himself a beer to wind down, it didn’t take long for an answer. “Probably more than one,” Armstrong said.
