This is not surprising. FNC attracts a balanced viewership comparatively:
The latest Pew Research survey on the partisan make up cable news network viewership:
CNN: 51% Democrats, 18% Republicans, 23% independents
MSNBC: 45% Democrats, 18% Republicans, 27% independents
Fox News: 33% Democrats, 39% Republicans, 22% independents

It ebbs and flows. It's too neocon for me. Some shows are very non-partisan, but then they do something like have a dem and a pub on, they let the pub talk and say whatever they want, then they talk *loudly* over the dem after giving them about 5 seconds of airtime. It's just disrepectful. Then they spend their time commentating on things that are irrelevant in the greater context. I think it almost makes people who watch stupider. But that's intentional, of course.
When they cater to republicans rather than neo-cons and bible thumpers, get back to me.

Sounds like you monitor it closely enough that you'll know before me.

I watched the Biden announcement coverage on Fox. Other than that, I haven't watched more than 5 minutes in the last 5 years.

that was dumb thing to do ... CNN was devoting continuous coverage for several days on that. FOX just dropped in every now and again

not even I would watch FOX if I wanted 24/7 rampant speculation on Obama - that's what C)NN is for - and its in HD!

Well that maintains your status as a resident expert on FNC.

Is there something else Fox News does, other than speculate about Obama? The Republican media seem pretty obsessed with him. I know - they probably throw in an occasional 5-minute puff piece on McCain's heroic imprisonment. Just to be fair and balanced.

I never said I was a resident expert. I already know what kind of drivel I'm going to get from Bill O'Reilly, and I sure don't need to watch Hannity & Colmes. Maybe Fox & Friends is tolerable.
I've seen lots of clips about how they treat people though. At least the other networks don't talk over their guests when they disagree.

Funny how Tuff Bob calls me a lefty simply because I am not in agreement with the current administration and believe McCain will be more of the same. The extreme right wingers, the radicals like wimpy Bob would rather label people because they are so parochial in their thinking they only see the world through their red state colored glasses, believing every talking point generated by the White House and the RNC and reported on Fox News. If you don't march to the right wing beat, you must be a liberal. Wimpy Bob is a fool. He ignores I voted for Ronald Regan, Bush I. Nah, I must be a liberal.
I only visit this place once in a while because the people who spend most of their time on here define social misfit and are out of touch with reality. Keep on flaming!
