How stupid are we?

U.S. automakers seek Fed loans to ride downturn-WSJ | Markets | Markets News | Reuters

Approximately one in twelve workers have a connection to these industries.

Figure out the numbers.

Currently the prime rate by the Bank of Japan is one half percent.

You can say "good riddance, I drive a Honda" but truth is you will soon be saying "I'm screwed, nobody's buying my crap".

Instead the arguments will revolve around how many cribs the candidates have.

What a bunch of morons we are.

Huh?

Here's my speach

The american auto industry as we know it is dying - gov't loans will only delay it. The Detroit 3 should be trying to figure out how they will fit in the new industry, not trying to cling onto what ever they can as the ship sinks. Detroit needs new leadership.

Just because all our CEOs are exporting all our jobs to Asia and Mexico doesn't mean our industry is dying

The funny part of this whole tragedy is that Asia and Mexico can't provide the demand that Americans can. So all this dumb mother ****ers that move jobs outside the country are going to see their businesses tank when no one can pay for their ****ing ****ty ass services and products.

**** THEM MOTHER ****ERS.

Hey, I'm the only one on this board who cusses multiple times in a single post.

Can't provide demand if you don't have a job.

Hasn't anybody noticed in the article that GM quotes the current pay rate on interest is approximately 13.5%. You know that the rest are close to that. Either via direct investment intervention or direct currency manipulation, how can anybody compete when capital costs are so skewed?
