New info from Drudge. The company that is producing the Obama-Bayh materials has produced materials for Obama previously, per FEC records.

They say the same thing about Kaine.
And the same thing about Romney.
I just don't see it happening...and if these states do go one way or another...i think it'll probably be pretty coincidental.

Kaine could help in VA, but I don't see Romney adding a particular state to the election.
Bayh would be big for Indiana - I'm a native and it is as conservative of a state as there is outside of the South and Utah. He's a big name with a big pedigree in the state and has won four statewide elections. He might not help (or even hurt) in some states, but he would help with Indiana.

maybe you're right. i know how stupid Indiana can be...and i live in Ohio.
Some people seem to think Romney will make Michigan go for McCain...maybe because Romney promised to bring car jobs back to the state.
The issue with Bayh is that he's also so young...i don't see him adding a lot to the ticket.

I am now out of the VP announcement prediction business. The Obama campaign just flooded the news hole with speculation.
A campaign with as much money as Obama currently has could order $10K of bumper stickers to throw off reporters. It very well could be Bayh but this has been a very well kept secret.

Obama Bay? That sounds like somewhere you'd stop on a Caribbean cruise.

Don't worry - I live in Ohio now, so I get the best (worst) of both worlds.

Whoops.
Drudge has taken down the article.
Once again Drudge gets it wrong and people lap up whatever he reports without questioning it.
Unbelievable.

Drudge is a news aggregator. A television station in Kansas City originally reported this story, Drudge just passed it along.

Drudge never takes credit for his self induced face plants.
Have we seen those Bill Clinton / prostitute love child photo's yet?
Drudge makes a living by being the conduit for the GOP, conservative think tanks and conservative 527's.

Then why do people place any credibility in him?
Talk about being stupid.
And that is why so many people have looked ignorant by buying into the contentions on his website.
Personally, I know better than to get all excited about some "news flash" on the Drudge report.

So as a relative leftie on the board (at least compared to most of the self-identifying righties), do I get credit for telling everyone to slow their roll?

I didn't think that I might've been wrong. Let me check what I posted:
