Despite a few underhanded comments, they're giving some SERIOUS coverage to the Obama veep announcement.

This is surprising, that although the commentator is attempting to take this in the wrong direction, they're actually giving the "longtime Dem commentator" quite a bit of leeway. And they're letting him talk.

Something tells me that the *cough* *cough* far, far, far right, is being given an opportunity to reject "the Maverick."

Biden is a wild card, but even Fox is presenting this as a positive. The only downside is that it's airing after 1, and after the Faux producers get ahold of it, I'm sure it'll look different for the 6:30am crowd.

It looks like they're pointing to Romney as veep for McCain, but the funny thing is, I know many, many evangelicals that would choose a black president who was a christian (any branch) over a Mormon. PERIOD. I'm serious. A Jehovah's witness would have a better chance of being elected a sanitation supervisor.

The NewsCorp stock is taking a beating ( down over 30%) and the FoxNews division is being blamed for being to narrowly focused therefore missing potential viewership.

The may be getting some moderation marching orders. Murdoch didn't get rich by losing money.

Wishful thinking, the business model worked fine up until October of last year. All of the major media companies are down since October. Call me when they hiring Oberman.

If you think Murdoch will keep taking gas you are a willing customer for bridges too. Murdoch has made a career of bucking trends and getting rich along the way.

Murdoch already hired Olberman once. They didn't get along and Murdoch hated Olberman so much he was paying him more than $100K/month for over a year to keep him off the air.
