Has the Arctic Ice Cap completely melted yet?
I mean summer is almost over. I am tired of using my reel lawn mower and so if the arctic ice cap HAS melted I figure, what the heck, I may as well fire up the John Deere, what difference does it make now?

Nope, still more ice this year than last, just another example of the 50% of "scientists" that are yet again extremely wrong on the subject, but hey, they got some grant money out of the deal.

Since we're all about short term, "if it doesn't happen overnight then it won't ever happen" thinking here, has society crumbled and the institution of marriage been completely destroyed now that gays can marry in California? TIA.

Well, the Global warming thing came on pretty much overnight, been hanging on for last 8 years, and now has been switched to global climate change, so what you got to say about that??

What subject are these scientists wrong about?
Nature doesn't move in perfectly straight lines up or down. Most of nature moves in fits and starts. My favorite is the greed and fear of human nature in the stock market. Do prices move straight up, or are there corrections that take prices down for awhile? I wouldn't pin your arguement on one year's data. You need much longer time frames as evidence to support your postion.

There is an entire worlds history of warming and cooling Mark, that is the argument and will always be, its the GW crowd going with a 10 year warming trend arguing that the end is near, the humans have killed it.
