And illegal aliens also drive down the wages of Americans. But the mantra some spout is that illegals do the work Americans wont do. Partially correct. At that WAGE level. Here is a real life example of it in practice. We have a place in Hilton Head. We hired a family dry wall business (African American guy and his son) who had a thriving enterprise going (700k per year) and 10 employees. They hired a few illegal aliens. Two years later, the illegals left the company and started a competing business. Charged lower prices,paid no taxes. The American business shrunk to 60k in sales, with just the dad and son left.
