The worst ex-President ever, employing the worst possible Demm campaign tactic.

What a shocker!

how would things be different if we had paid more attention to his energy conservation efforts back in the 70s?

I don't think anyone really cares what Carter has to say.

Our per capita energy consumption has increased slightly since Carter was President. It's just our population has increased. Sorry, but the only easy numbers I can find are for North America has a whole, but you get the idea.

For your small universe probably so.
For the rest of the world and the US you are greatly outnumbered.

But Carter stands for things like free election, following US law and not using the DoJ as a political tool. He clearly isn't a real American patriot.

So who did you vote for in 1980?

Like the "fair" election Carter oversaw in Venezuela where Hugo Chavez won by 90% and promptly got rid of the Country's constitution?

Energy independence was the explicit goal of Carter's initiatives. The initiatives were immediately trashed under Reagan. Monumental fail, Dr.

I'm in the mood for a fable - why don't you tell us all what would be different?
