Really? I guess you missed the part where I said he has already outlived his expectancy.

McCain's mother is still alive and kicking. And if I recall correctly. Genetics have some of the biggest impact on your life expectancy...
Besides, it not like the man will have access to the world's (or out of this world?) best health care and science....

So she'll just find a competent VP replacement to replace McCain....and he/she will be sworn in by Congress.
Man, didn't you read MSURed's post?

How pissed off would the democrats be if McCain lived to be as old as his mother? She's currently 95, but then again, his father died at age 70.

"She's been a real mayor"....ooooooooh. I am unimpressed. So has Rudy Guiliani. If we are assuming that mayors and governors have more usable experience for the white house than a legislator then Palin and Guiliani have more experience than either McCain or Obama. By defending their weak choice as VP running mate, the GOP is actually running down the qualifications of their own candidate.

I did...so what. So what your saying is that she will be an empty suit that her "handlers" will run like a puppet if she becomes the president?

That question has been posed on this very website, and with all the O ma supporter that proclaim him the new mesiah, the responses were extremely disapointing. I was actually looking for some insite from his followers to make me more comfortable with the prospect of a potential Obama presidency, but the usual "He's not Bush" was all that was offered. Very disappointing indeed. Please people, help me out, I really want to know, what has he done in his limited years of service that makes you such admirers (and remember, a response of "he's not Bush", is not allowed).
edit: not that it matters, but I'm no accross the board right wing supporter. I find McCain the lesser of two evils, as I just can't get behind the Dems that promise to raise taxes & spend more (and said gleefully to boot). I know that the Reps have been bad with speding lately, but I'm hoping that will change with a new administration. So, consider this a learning experience for me, let's hear it.

I didn't know I was supposed to answer the question. Also, since that question has been answered multiple times in the past I'm not sure why it would need to be answered again.
1. He's been a labor and civil rights organizer on Chicago's South Side.
2. He's been a professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago
3. He's served as an Illinois legislator where he helped pass legislation on ethics reform, healthcare reform, welfare reform, tax credits for low income workers, among other things
4. Since in Washington he's sponsored or co-sponsored legislation ranging from campaign financing reform to anti-terrorism bills.
Since that has been mentioned once again, please tell me what Palin has done with her life besides shoot a moose once and be the grandmother of a bastard child.

1. If you believe that Obama is going to raise your taxes you are either A) wealthy or B) buying into the GOP spin and lie machine. Obama's plan actually calls for tax cuts for 95% of American families. Unless your family falls in that 5% then your taxes will go DOWN.
2. Please explain what about McCain makes you expect a change in spending policies when he has voted over 90% of the time in agreement with the high spending policies of the current administration?

still...if we are going by the argument that genetics have a lot to do with individual life expectancy, then that's a red flag right there.

That both of his parents beat out their expectancies? I guess the odds aren't in favor of Juan doing the same either?

Not necessarily. We save $10 billion a month ($120 billion/year) by getting out of Iraq. Restoring the taxes on the wealthy to pre-bush levels will bring in more revenue. Also, Obama has stated that he will go through the entire budget and cut ineffective programs that aren't needed and streamline the programs that are needed.
