Movie What Really Caused the Economic Crisis

Just came across this:
YouTube - Burning Down The House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis?

Thoughts? Accurate/Not accurate?

If not, how so?

Very compelling information, interesting how none of this has been picked up by the media, just a guy with a computer and access to Google. I'd like to see this same information vetted by a non-partisan group to determine fact from fiction.

I'm just not of the opinon that every Dem was the bad guy and every Rep was trying to come in on a white horse and fix the problem. Bush was the President with a majoirty in the House and Senate for 6 years. If he really saw this coming why no legislation? The Dems weren't in a position to do anything about it yet nothing happened.

It's simply too slanted to be believable, it's as if it was created by the bizzarro Micheal More

True. I was thinking about one of McCain's advisers who was tied to Fannie/Freddie. I loved the beginning but then it took a partisan turn.

LMAO. What crappy music. Jeebus. And 10 minutes long?

I guess Greenspan having Fed Rates at 1% for what was it, 3-4 years had no effect on outragous lending?

And if you want to get all partisan, Bush had a full term of owning both houses and being president. How in the **** can you be partisan about this and say Bush couldn't do anything about it, LMAO.

And to top that, Bush RODE the housing bubble to get re-elected. I don't recall Bush saying "this is a crisis of epic proportions", uh nah, what he said was "America has more wealth now than ever before" and "we have more home ownership than ever before".

Blaming Carter?? LMFAO. Uh yeah....how many presidents have there been since Carter? Let's see Reagan (8years), Bush(4), Clinton(8) and Dumbya (8). Yeah, lets blame it on Carter....better yet lets blame it on Hoover and Roosevelt.

I'm not saying encouraging people to buy loans was not part of the problem. But no ****ing way was it THE ONLY cause of the problem.

The video is a joke.
