The pandering never ends
In a brilliant move calculated to garner him at least 2.2% of the African-American vote, John McCain will sponsor a Senate resolution calling for a posthumous pardon for the 1913 Mann Act conviction of Jack Johnson. The resolution was sent to the Senate by voice vote from House Republicans, suddenly converted into fiery figures of racial justice, after decades of abjectly ignoring the concerns of African-Americans. Undoubtedly Martin Luther Bush, Jr. eagerly awaits to sign. After all, some of their best friends are Negroes.
ESPN - House recommends pardon for Johnson, first black heavyweight champ - Boxing

Well, he went down to dinner in his Sunday best
IGGcitable boy, they all said
And he rubbed the pot roast all over his chest
IGGcitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an IGGcitable boy

Good for him. Johnson's unjust conviction happened 95 years ago. What all of a sudden inspired McCain and his Repub buddies to cry out for justice??

Yeah, but it didn't take them 95 years to get around to it.
