Bloomberg.com: Worldwide
Oct. 7 (Bloomberg) -- A U.S. military aircraft was forced to land in Iran after violating the Persian Gulf nation's airspace, the state-run Fars news agency said.
The plane was carrying five U.S. generals and three non- military passengers, Fars reported. They were questioned before being released and allowed to leave for Afghanistan, which was their destination, Fars added.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon denied on Tuesday an Iranian news report that a U.S. military aircraft had violated Iranian territory and had been forced to land in Iran, saying all American planes were accounted for.
"All aircraft in the region are accounted for and we have no reports of any aircraft landing in Iran," Lt. Col. Patrick Ryder told reporters.
"I haven't heard anything like that," said Pentagon Bryan Whitman.

Iran Fighters Force Plane To Land | World News | Sky News
Reports that the jet was a US warplane with military personnel on board were contradicted by other sources inside the country, which said its nationality was in fact Hungarian.
Reports said five people were interrogated, but allowed to leave the following day after it became clear their trespass into Iranian airspace had been a mistake.
They added that the interrogation revealed that they had strayed over the border unintentionally en route to Afghanistan.

I'm pretty sure that Obama, the acting commander-in-chief, ordered the invasion to show that he is 'tough' on Iran.
He'll make the announce later today. I believe he received input from Jimmy Carter on how it should be done.
