On the other hand, Massachusetts has introduced similar legislation, so its not all bad news.

I prefer educating people as a strategy over pleading to elected officials - I have no faith in the latter.

My wife has a chronic pain condition. A couple joints > 6 to 8 hydocodone. Now which in daily use over the course of many years is gonna do more harm?
Above and beyond my personal interest, and no I don't smoke, the whole war on drugs reeks of Govt. interests guarding thier own turf. It is flat out wrong.
Children? You gotta teach them how to blow off a little steam, then turn around and light the world on fire! Mine see that having a few drinks does not mean I don't wake up and give 100% at work the next day. Im not gonna try to hide this from them, life has many sides to it.
