Vodka, mostly. It worked for Stalin, and it's serving me pretty well. My insides are so well preserved that I might outlive Yoda.

As far as the no soul bit is concerned, it's a bit odd. Not having any feeling or pang of emotion when I listen to the screams and pleas of my tortured victims, while greatly facilitating a high level of job performance, just leaves me feeling....empty. I want to feel the pain and agony they're experiencing and I just don't get that emotional high.

Repetative? Perhaps in a general sense, but if you are going to delete every thread which debates a topic previously debated you wouldn't have a board here.

Basically I thought it was a trolling thread. If you're going to put a thread up about alternative energy, that's fine - at least put a little bit more effort into it, though.

I was initially inclined to axe it, but then it turned into an actual discussion about Sotomayor. Your thread was in the process of getting hijacked into a discussion about completely unrelated things and was basically degenerating into a spamfest.

First time. Long Time.

Listen my question is why do Bullwrinkle and others, who clearly feel the powers that be here on the board don't share their political views and are extremely biased towards what they allow the opposition to get away with, continue to post on a place that gives them such distress. Wouldn't they be happier on another, more conservatively slanted, board where they can all talk about how great Reagan was in between their glasses of Metamucil and changing the batteries on their hearing aids.

I answer as one of the "others". I post on Spartantailgate because it is a highly entertaining site. On tRCMB I can catch up on Spartan and other sports as well as cars, electronics and look at pics of scantily clothed babes. On WH, I can spar with my leftie friends about various issues and become better informed in the process.

I was banned for posting my view that Obama's policies demonstrate incompetence yet right now on the board various threads about right-wing hate and right-wing wackos are given free reign.

I started a thread about alternative energy which was deleted evidently because of the anti GW, oops I mean GCC opinion I expressed.

I have made some constructive suggestions as to how to better moderate the board which have gone unheeded.

Nevertheless I hope to remain an active contributor to the debate because I enjoy it here. Who knows, with some even-handed moderation I might even contribute.

Provocative thread title, yes, but Jack at least mentioned a study discussing rise in syphillis rates and linked to an article about it. You did neither. If you cite a source or discuss your thoughts more in depth (I mean more than a sentence or two) when you're creating a thread, I'll generally leave you alone.
