The Main Stream/Drive By Media is single biggest source of divisiveness, hate, and polarization in America today. I don't know what a hater mongerer is, but Matthews isn't on the far left. He's admitted to voting for Bush in 2000, which was a minority position and puts Matthews on the right.
I didn't hear whom he voted for in 2004, but he was smitten with Obama and likely voted for him last year. As this was a majority position, Matthews could still be to the right of center. Based on what we know and what we can guess, Matthews can't realistically be called a "far left" guy.
But it is refreshing to see the Wells Hall Republicans take a stand against political violence.

Matthews is definitely on the left though. He said Obama causes him to get a "thrill going up my leg". Not only is that really disgusting, but it shows he's pretty much thrown out any interest in not being partisan.
