Question for the Rs re: Palin
Do you actually believe she is qualified to be President? Seriously? Would you vote for her just because she has an R next to her name?

Palin missed her opportunity for higher national office when she bailed out on the governorship. If she was serious about being POTUS she should have finished her term as gov, ran for US Senate, served a term there, and then run for POTUS. If she runs as the Repub nominee in 2012, I will vote Libertarian.

Yes I think she is qualified, seriously. Why isn't she? How can you consider Obama "qualified" and Palin not?
I vote for the person I think would work for the policies I favor, not some pseudo-qualification criteria.
Is Biden qualified?
He thinks FDR came on the TV in 1929 to reassure the nation about the economy

Obama also thinks there are 57 states.
Obama is less qualified than Palin, and neither are qualified to be the president.

70% of the nation thinks she's not qualified. If anyone thinks she is, they are in the minority (and quite possibly insane).

No - based on her experience she is woefully unqualified. So was Obama and we are seeing what that leads to.
Now someone with lots of "experience" may be technically "qualified", but if he/she is also a blithering idiot, I wouldn't support them either. Hint......our current VEEP would be example A for that.

That's all that hosebeast is.
Only $1.2 mil advance for her ghost written "Rogue" book?
Quit her job to cash in on being THE dumbest speaker on any issue ever.
And yet people actually think she'll run in '12?
Cthe Left can only PRAY the Right nominates her.

I think the "qualification" debate is a bit of misnomer. She's served as a governor of a state (although briefly), which to me, means she's about as "qualified" as any other politician that's held a high office. However, given my perceptions of her intelligence, leadership ability, personality, ethics, leadership ability, etc., I think she has shown zero ability to actually be an effective president.
Seriously, she's arrogant, flaky, seems unwilling or unable to engage in critical thought, somewhat paranoid, apt to cronyism and abuse of power, and doesn't seem to work well with others. Why would anyone think she'd make a good president?

Yeah, just wait until 2016 or 2020 or thereafter, because as we all know women's looks improve dramatically from ages 50 on up, so her qualfications for national office will absolutely zoom by that time.

The part the conns always forget: when your POTUS candidate is a doddering 72-year-old who has already had several significant health situations, in point of fact, your VP candidate IS running for president.
Had the GOP ticket actually been elected, at noon on Jan. 20, 2009, Sarah Palin would have had a higher likelihood of becoming president than any VP in history.

The dopey posts here show why the conservative movement is a sideshow led by clowns like Beck and Palin. Intellectual light weights who are adept at making money from their politics and little else.
Palin at the top of a presidential ticket is what opposition campaign managers dream about. A person who doesn't prepare, doesn't like to talk about her education, can't finish one 4 year term in statewide office because she resigns, not being elected to a higher office, quit.
I have all I need to know in not trusting redwing, rqa and bully's judgment after these admissions..

RQA you just showed the you are blindly loyal to a cause.
Supporting Huckaby, Romney, Pawlenty makes sense. All are plausible candidates. Palin is nothing more than a poster child for a group wanting to claim being victims.

Again, I have never said I support her as a presidential candidate. What I continue to say is that she is as qualified as our current President and V-P.

how? She demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the most basic issues during the debates and campaign. She is an intellectual light weight. Did you see her resume? It's laughable.

On the other hand, Barry was a community organizer and was well on his way to serving a full term in the senate when he was elected.
