The difference between Obama and Palin is that the former won his election, is now the President of the United States, and took on the most challenging job in the world and is hard at work trying to meet its challenges, while she lost that same election, then quit the governorship of a state whose population and budget are smaller than those of many cities and counties in this country because she couldn't hack it any more.
Oh, and his first child was conceived in wedlock. Hers wasn't, as was the same case with her more recent grandchild. Like mother . . . .
Any more questionsly yours,

I'm not sure why they get so riled up when their standard bearer, face of the party and frontrunner for 2012 is brought up. What are they worried about?
Palin's involvement was an epic fail since after she got involved the poll numbers swung towards her opponent, eventually leading to a seat that had been held by the GOP since 2 decades before the Civil War to go Democrat. She even posted about the race and the GOP's inpending win on her Facebook page yesterday, per Sullivan. Whoops!
Todd Jones was a better closer than Palin.

I thought our standard bearer and party face was Rush? Make up your mind!
I do love it when SLU brings up the Civil War!!

How do you know the reason she quit?

"Palin offered few clues about her ambitions but said she arrived at her decision in part to protect her family, which has faced withering criticism and occasional mockery, and to escape ethics probes that have drained her family's finances and hampered her ability to govern.
Palin, 45, said that, after deciding not to run for reelection as governor, she realized she did not want to finish out her term merely for the sake of doing so. "
She took an oath to do the job and then quit in the middle because she wasn't up to continuing, in other words, she couldn't hack it.
It as simple as thatly yours,

Rush is the head of the party, but Palin is your standard bearer as a candidate. Ignorance is bliss, eh RQA.
The Civil War? Is that the game between Oregon and Oregon State every year or the one you disagreed with because it was wrong to end slavery (though maybe you've changed your mind since so many people here have owned you repeatedly??)

Anyone else find it oddly convenient that anytime there is a bad outcome Palin uses one way communication through Facebook?
