I used to be mildly liberal, then went conservative. Obama is pushing me farther right.

I suppose that in the time of the revolution, that overthrowing the king and waging war against england was pretty "liberal". those freedoms we won and established are what today's "conservaties" say they are fighting to protect.
Look at medicare and medicade. Conservatives are fighting the medicare and medicade cuts in the health care reform plan, arguing thet should not be cut, as they will harm seniors and people who benefit from it. But wasn't the establishment of Medicare and Medicade, pretty "liberal" when it was established? Would that have been opposed by many who were "conservative"
Is there any merit to this quote? What say you Wells Hall
since this is my first post over here, I am what I suppose is called a "Moderate" feeling no political obligation in one way or another

The "true believer" wing of the tea-bagger crowd would happily get rid of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security if they could get away with it -- they were all derided as "socialism" (now known as 'SOCILISM') when they were passed, by many of the same crowd still screaming about health care reform.
See how much of the gray-haired granny crowd they'd keep once THAT little tidbit got out.
"Every man for himself" = the cry of the right-wing loonies.

Well first of all what *******s means it unclear since you chaose to use a word that cannot be read of this board...I would call that mindless on your part.
Second if you are going to call all Liberials liars then it must be pointed out that almost everyone lies at one time or another so your statement is just silly, as is your post which appears to add nothing to this board.

First of all Obama is a conserative Democrat so if you think you were mildly liberial you had too be far to the left of his positions.
Second how is Obama pushing you there...does he stop by your house and force you the believe that we should have a King and Lords (a conserative position BTW)?
