I'm not saying it's the truth...just not impossible. Just assuming that he did have terrorist connections, how do you know that this was his only attack on the military? He easily could have provided information to terrorist organizations along the way...
Again, I'm just saying it's possible. I've heard stories of CIA and FBI agents selling information to enemy organizations. It's not impossible that a disgruntled major might do the same.

At this very moment, there is more Muslim terrorism (at least that we hear about in the US). Aren't they supposed to have someone to talk to themselves? It seems like a lot to be a combat stress mental health contact for many military personnel....and not have someone or some other person to decompress with (like another psychologist).

Jeez...this is about a soldier who went terribly wrong and we don't know why.
And of course the media is all over his name....and so are some of you.
I can't wait until one day someone isn't looked at suspiciously because of their freaking name.  There are plenty of people with middle eastern names who are NOT Muslim. Apparently this guy is. But it doesn't automatically make him some Taliban lover.

1. you make a somewhat valid point. I would argue that America has not indiscriminately targeted muslims and certainly has not targeted civilians.
2. less than 20 abortion docs? (just guessing). I don't support killing in the name of any religion or extremism of any sort. I would guess there are not schools and congregations which teach/celebrate/support this type of activity. Killing in the name of Islam seems to be far more institutionalized and therefore more nefarious.
