TB (cough, cough),
Congrats. You win this massive victory the media (both camps) is obsessed with SP! Hopefully, Ms. Sarah "Bobby Williams" Palin will realize she is in way, way over her head and go back to quietly being a fine governor of Alaska. Better to know you're a fool and remain silent rather than open your mouth and prove it. Unfortunately, she keeps proving it every day.
Either the GOP will buy into her, send a decent handler up north and tell her to pipe down until she has something worth while to say or they are giving her enough rope to hang herself. I’ll assume from the daily display it is the latter.

Huffington Post, an opinion blog, is now part of the MSM? Only in sfb bob's world.
And how dare that liberal loon Mike Huckabee talk about her. What bias.
Besides, these editorials were in response to her long interview (which I am sure you claim the "liberal media" forced her to do) attacking sources like Huffington Post. And some are campaign analysis. What are media outlets supposed to do, not discuss the campaign or just omit Palin's name? Oh wait, if they did that you'd be whining about their unfair treatment of your new dream girl.
She wants the attention, she's getting it. If she is so bothered by it, stop running to every camera and microphone in the free world and concentrate on being governor of Alaska and making moose stew.

If she really wanted the attention, she'd be giving interviews to every nightly news outlet. I'm sure there isn't one that wouldn't turn her down.
It's the liberal media that is so palin obsessed that they are following her around and reporting when she talks with a blogger

no, she wouldn't, because she has shown that she will only pick and choose who she talks to lest they ask her a question she can't answer, like "what do you read" or "name a Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade." So, she goes to right wing bloggers who will fluff her and has them spread the Palin message to keep her name in the media spotlight. She's the Rosetta Stone of high comedy for the MSM and as long as she keeps attacking them, blaming them for her loss (she never mentions McCain, it's all about her) and begging for attention, they are going to respond. If she doesn't do a video whining and crying about the media (a video distributed to MSM outlets), nobody does a story on her - except Faux News, they love her (9 stories in 13 days).

I guess we could keep score on Bully trolling threads started since 20 Jan 09 but unlerss you are retired thereenough hours in the day.
Palin is Alaska's Blagojevich when it comes to getting paid perks for family members.
Tell us Bully, hows the wedding plans of the former oil field electrician apprentice HS drop out and the abstinence governor's un-wed mother moving along?

I guarantee you that no current governor can touch what Blagojevich pulled/tried to pull.

Between Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber, these people must feel so betrayed, that two of who they claim to be their own could defect to the dark side of personal responsibility and liberty and not support the nanny state must tear them up more than we'll ever know. It won't stop. The targets might, but the obsessions won't.

Why would we be betrayed by people who charge the taxpayers of your state to pay for their high school (and elementary school) drop out kids to fly all over the country and stay in luxury hotels, charging the state to stay in your own house, ethics violations. Not to mention the prejudiced plumber with a tax lein who lies about buying a business. Yep, sounds like Republicans to me. Thanks for clarifying that, danb.

But hey, if you want to take white trash like the Wasilia Hillbilly and her family of drop outs and American hating seperatists, and Sam the Unlicensed Plumber, go ahead and have them, we have no room for them in the MAJORITY party. Those two are the perfect faces for the GOP, keep on promoting the hell out of them.

For 6 years the Dems had room for Rod Blagojevich.

According to family members I have in Chicago, Blagojevich used his father-in-law's position as Chicago alderman to push his career. Oddly the former governor was also expert at positioning himself as "the man of the people" when it came to grandstanding on specific issues.
How the Illinois GOP didn't beat him in his re-election bid is a mystery.
Palin on the other hand made a lot of noise about selling the state airplane without telling the whole story and has used the Governor's office as a way to get a chef for her family and a piggy bank to fund her family's travels across the country.

Given the choice I would take Ron over Sarah. Ron's wife might have some issues but Sarah's brood tops her.

It is true that Alderman Mell played a role in Blago's career. Also of note, Blago's sister-in-law is now in the Illinois House. She was the one vote against impeachment.
Blago's indiscretions were in question long before he was arrested by the feds. It was common knowledge that he was under federal investigation during his last campaign. If you're wondering why the GOP couldn't win in the 2006 election, all you need to do is look at the war chests of both candidates (Judy Baar Topinka being the GOP candidate.) Blago had a ridiculous amount of money. As a matter of fact, the amount of $25,000 contributions he had to his campaign fund was something like 3 times the amount of the previous 3 governors COMBINED. That raised a lot of questions. Of course, we now know how he got a vast majority of those contributions.
Speaking of not telling the whole story, the Blago flu vaccine story is a great example of Blago not telling the whole story. Blago's version of the story is he tried to get flu vaccines into the state in an attempt to lessen the effects of the shortage. On its face, it looks like a great idea. What Blago doesn't say is that he completely ignored the fact that he was barred from doing so by the FDA. Blago forgot about this little technicality known as "federal law." Apparently on Planet Blago there is no Supremacy Clause. The result was a complete waste of millions in taxpayer money.

I assume you mean Rod, and no governor in America can touch what Rod did. Trying to sell a Senate seat was absolutely horrendous and shaking down a children's hospital will probably earn him a VIP place in hell. Let's not forget Blago's attempt to suppress free speech in the chicago Tribune.
