Mr. O'Keefe, the Acorn / GOP / Conservative Golden Boy Goes Nixon
Some people are dumb, others arrogant. O'Keefe seems to have found that rare combination of the two. The same guy who over 2 dozen GOP Congressmen supported in introducing a resolution to honor him for his Acorn activities.
FLASHBACK: 31 House Republicans Supported Resolution Honoring Alleged Felon James O'Keefe | Media Matters Action Network
This time he orchestrated having people represent themselves as communications techs to gain access to a US Senator's offices and attempting to tamper with the phones/phome system . Now they are all facing Federal charges.

Do you ever care about things Dems do? You know, like hide **** loads of money in the freezer or hire tax cheats?

For the love of mike, are so so dense that you don't see the irony?
I thought the New Orleans Congressman (who was convicted) was right up their with the CA congressman who's also doing time.
But this guy was a rock star in the conservative movement. Now he is forgot that US Senators and other members of the legislative branch can't be wire tapped or be the targets of another self-styled video "investigation" .
He is an arrogant young man who now will have to spend lots of money on legal defense.
Can't help but notice no one is wanting to discuss this bonehead play.

And why you are a sorry excuse of an American Citizen.
You would have loved Tricky Dick Nixon and his version of law.

The Press doing under cover investigations of elected officials and government funded groups in order to keep them honest is a good thing.

They better hope so. Spying on a US senator during war time is treason.

wait a minute here. A guy who was paid by a shady conservative interest group to to destroy ACORN (because, God forbid, they help minorities and the poor), then edited the videos to present a case that ACORN was involved in shading dealings to there would be so much pressure to cut off all funding and shut said organization down, is now involved in trying to wire tap the government office of an elected member of the Senate the interest group funding the dude opposes?
What next? You're going to tell me Kalin Lucas is a hell of a hoops player?

Fail bob
Like his whine on why the US wasn't sending troops to Haiti when there were going to be over 1000 there.
bob is a faux American too.
Laws are only there to use when you want to prosecute people you don't like.

fail bob is a pathetic schtick. In fact, I have no reason to believe he wasn't on the OJ jury ("his footprint in blood at the crime scene? Whatever. He's not guilty.").

And the hits keep coming.
Looks like these young conservatives didn't think laws applied to them. It's not like at least one didn't have someone to ask. Flanagan's father's acting US Attorney for Western LA.

golden boy? rockstar? Hardly.
Sure the conservatives liked the videos he made that revealed ACORN for the scum organization that it is but it was plain as day that conservatives didn't care for O'Keefe too much. You can like the message without liking the messenger. As a result, he got very little air time in the aftermath of the video releases. I actually saw way more interviews of Hannah than of this kid who was seemingly the creator of the operation.

I appreciate your effort in compiling that list but I consulted each and every one of them and they all agreed that HR809 has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that O'Keefe himself wasn't highly thought of in conservative circles even if his deconstruction of ACORN was.

First of all you probably haven't made email or phone call #1 and if you care to check with Pete Olson, his office is still supporting what O'Keefe did with his ACORN efforts and won't comment on this.

This thread is going to turn out to be pretty funny with all the retractions taking place.

What retractions?
Entering a US Senators office under false pretenses and even pretending to mess with the phone system is a violation of Federal law.
Are you intimating if this had been done on April Fools Days everyone would have had a nice laugh and gone on with their day?

No, but going in to make a video clip so you can putogether a spoof slamming Landrieu for not picking up her constituents phone calls while negotiating her payoff is a far cry from being Nixonian. Dumb, yeah, but not some sinister plot either.
