I agree with dawg. I've never even seen her talk show, but her stand up routines are classic. And almost every male stand-up comic thinks she's one of the best.

I live in the Silverlake/Los Feliz area of LA, which is fairly hetero, metro, omni sexual....you're going to see a lot of everything around here. I somehow doubt that coffee bean or Rambutan Thai are big time les hangouts. Chalk it up to blue state lifestyle.
